There is another vid on my youtube channel about honing with just the 4/8 where I show using a Artificial Nagura and the 4k to set the bevel quite quickly.....

Then you learned the most important lesson I had to offer, if you start with a truly sharp bevel then honing becomes pretty easy and actually fun :)

Actually I am very consistent, I consistently do it wrong when I use two hands, and consistently do it right with one :)

Learn to turn on the spine now when you start... that is right... In fact...

I tape every razor, (unless the customer asks specifically not to) the choice is yours however...
For me it is a choice I made when I first started restoring razors, sitting there all day with sore...

You are not the only one that thinks there are way more circles, but trust me I didn't,,, I hone very fast, but I am just not that fast... the video makes me look faster than I really am...

hehe you caught that too huh.. I say that on all my Videos, I can get into idiot mode fast :D I made a Norton 4-8 vid for one of the guys that needed some help, and had to make fun of myself in it...

HUGE +1... This was fun, and it does work, but the 70% consistency is to low for me also...
I get near 100% hits, when using all Synthetics, or a Synthetic run to 8k then a Natural finisher...
