Could have very well been a combination of the two then, the older re-grind and then buffer burn on the blade could have caused the loss of temper and resulted in the floppy steel :shrug:

Was the rust and pitting in the pic I posted still on the blade ????

Gentlemen, There is no rule about pointing out flaws with the RAZOR, and why that RAZOR, might be bad

There is however a fine line when you start busting on the Vendor, who may or may not know...
