    it does

    resemble a black chalk board. its very smooth. I looked on ebay at hones and it seemed to resemble a Dura-hone and a Carborundum?:shrug:

    Any info on what this is? or isn't?

    Found this at an antique store for $3. Any idea what type of Hone? I know they are many. Or maybe what we can rule out to narrow it down, so I will have a clue how I can use it. Its grey, 3"x4"x 1/2"...
