I found one very small vari-speed one that was insufficient for what I needed. I also looked at slow speed motors and buffer set-up but they were more than I wanted to spend.
Solution: build it.... -

The polisher/buffer I've used was a 1700 RPM one...
The polisher/buffer I've used was a 1700 RPM one and was only used to buff out scales (no blade work). It was plenty fast and why I was asking about the 3400 RPM ones.... seems too easy to get away...

Another question...
Are the tubes of compounds actually a "stick" form or more like toothpaste? I am familiar with the sticks (like Tripolli) and like how they work.... -
