    What's happened in your work with these blades. I have not started to work on mine yet- time factors as well as waiting for suggested starts (heat treating, tempering, etc.)

    I don't have a micrometer fine enough. They are less then .5 mm. THe edges are squared off. They look like they are ready for final grinding to get the spine straight and then polishing b4...

    I got the set. Now what. Do they just need to be ground, polished, and sharpened only. They are rough, but are they tempered and ready to finish? Seems like a fun project.
