Well, I worked on it for an hour or so this evening. I have a bevel started, I just haven't gotten it all the way to an edge yet, although it is getting closer.

It wasn't ground back into the belly. It looks like just the bevel was taken off, or maybe a bit more.

I have a Clauss that has had the edge ground, whether to take out a nick, or for some other, more diabolical reason I'm not sure. Anyway, it has been blunted thoroughly.
