Came today & lapped it up in 5 min on my well worn DMT 325. Very green, very heavy, very smooth surface after lapping. This should be fun...;)

Looks like this one is thinner (20 instead of 25mm). Hopefully the service life is still the same. Wonder if anyone here has used the new ones yet.

Saw this @ SRD. As I'm going to buy a Chosera 1k anyway, I'm wondering how this compares to the original that everybody loves. Seems like it doesn't come w/ a base. Any differences in use or care...
