I have to agree on that, even tho I've got a wooden box with a nice rock inside and there used to be a label "Escher & co, fine water hones...." but a so called "friend" removed it course it was old...

I wouldn't say the saw marks looks fresh, looks sort of the same as on some old rocks i have here, just dried slurry making them white.
