Here is a similar Wostenholm which I own and use, also a French frameback with a faux Damascus blade..

My Wostenholm frameback also has the faux Damascus blade pattern, but a steel spine.
Get that Wosty cleaned up and honed up, and I think you will find it will serve well.

Those 1850's LeCoultre pattern blades are good shavers! I have a similar frameback Wostenholm and a LeCoultre; they are easy and fun to shave with, but the heels of the blades do not sit flat on...
