You may wish to grab the glue as a 1st choice...
You may wish to grab the glue as a 1st choice when you can, it will keep you from buying a new strop.;)

I have several vintage strops, all with nicks....
I have several vintage strops, all with nicks. The big deal is when you get a flap, then its time for the crazy glue or finish cutting it out.
