I didn't say it was the same in regards to actual usage. I was saying that the very function of the +1 and -1 might be the same in terms of coding as the thanks version we see, just without the -1...

It was my uninformed understanding that the "Thanks" function was in fact the +1 mechanic already at work. Just missing the -1 option. I don't even know if the board supports more than one of them...
