Well it is correct but a bit unwieldy. It will do in a pinch but a small slurry stone is much handier.

Seems pretty flat. I don't use it for slurry...
Seems pretty flat. I don't use it for slurry anymore as I have slurry stones of matching grit like nun2sharp mentioned. It is good for hitting a lick on my pocket knife though.
