Nothing like that. Inside of a month. I had to call a couple of times to refresh their memory but they were very good about standing behind their product and sent along a few free credit card sized...

I sent one in for replacement once and when they sent me the new one they included a cleaning kit with a brass bristle brush and something like comet cleanser. I scrub mine down every so often.
