I have checked that out with mine and I would say no they do not. Of course you will have to lap periodically even in the midst of a honing session if you're doing a lot of honing ... just to remove...

I've got the 20mm Naniwas and the 15mm Shapton...
I've got the 20mm Naniwas and the 15mm Shapton pros. IME either of these polymer resin based hones have to be flattened every honing session. It is a very slight amount and some people might use them...
