Size of handle, knot and loft are very personal. I tend to like a 48 to a 52mm loft with a 23 to 26 knot. A medium to long handle. The Simpson Polo handle is really nice that way. The SRP Limited...

I like the Thater two bands best of all. That could change but they've become my favorite out of Rooney, Simpson, Shavemac .... Plisson. Just IMHO.
