I just eyeball them, look at the way the light shines off them, etc to gauge how even they are.

And, as far as hone wear goes, yes it ceratinly has plenty of that going on, but it also has pleny of wedgey beef to back it up, so...

I had a nice old W&B, Celebrated Fine India Steel.

Shave was always close and smooth, gotta love Sheffield steel.... but the razor lacked a certain *something*. I was shining it up and about to...
