The "Gellé Frères" in Paris was a barbers' supplies shop... They didn't produce themselves razors but most likely were branding razors with their name.

Moreover, that's why I wrote that it could...

The mark could be simply meaning 1st class = premiere classe = 1ere CL

Concerning the star, it could be that this razor had been made/sold during WW2 and the star was due to the French martial...
