MDC is at the pinnacle of soaps. I have no experience with the other soap mentioned but I would be astounded if it was the equal of MDC in all respects.

If it's exposed to the air the scent will decrease over time. That was my concern with the MDC Wood Shaving Bowl. I got one of the wood boxes they sell which is made to store soap and it's big enough...
