If it shaves fine I'd let it be. Of course if it really bothers you, you can hone it out. I'd start high and see what happens and then fall back.

If you have a very shallow flat spot it may shave fine. If it's a chip or something that affects the shave you will have to hone it out. What you need to take it out will depend...
