Hmmm... well, it was honed by a SRP member for me, and then I used it twice a week for about 9 months, with stropping on the latigo strop mentioned in the OP.

But about a year ago it started...

I purchased this a few months back, and am only just now getting to the point where I am contemplating trying to hone my razor.

Is this enough for a basic hone?

I also have a latigo leather...
