What's your problem Robin? What harm could it do to just enquire whether they thought it was a legit razor or not...?

Quite right - what harm can it do? I'd ignore all the negative tosh if it mattered enough to me to call them.

That is certainly an odd-looking razor! I'd love to see a highly enlarged photo of the bevel end-on. Was the lamination visible in the shank/tang area, John, or was this plated too?
