Those pics show the Habutae colour much better. Seems it has some nashiji (the little brown spots) as well.
Although it is a fast stone you may just need a few more strokes on the harder razor that...

Good point on the colour Stefan but the chiselled base shows the creamy Habutae colour. Maybe it is the fault of the pic as you say :shrug:

Habutae is merely a reference to colour. They are found in the Namito layer,next door...
