Yah, I just use em like any other stone but I did find that first lapping was crucial. Could feel a few high spots out of the box but easily lapped out.

One really needs to take each stone on its merits as you have done. The one dark blue Escher I had was coarser than even my J-nat pre polisher so became redundant in my progression.

I voted 2 because it reminds me of most of my edges. Really looks like a Jnat edge to me.. But if they all shave great , as you say, then the bevel cosmetics are kinda secondary eh ?
