That Kasumi "nagura" is only a trueing stone for the 3/8k, an uber soft ceramic, so it does not need to be too hard. Not surprising your stone mashed it up. It would be harder than the Kasumi .

I doubt it's an Asagi. It's unusual to not see any skin on the sides or base but anybody's guess just what it is exactly.
