I can't really give you an answer as I've never seen Gary's work up close, but I've had the opportunity to inspect dozens of Jason's scales and he impressed me with his work.

Some of our members like Jason and Gary custom-make scales and do a much better/more unique job out of it. With that being said, I would not get the DOVO stainless steel scales as they're too heavy...
