    The razor was bought on internet(Ebay) and looked in OK condition. No rust or anything. But I will go back on 1K grit as you suggested and if I canīt progress from there it goes...

    The razor is a World Class, 6/8. Itīs never been shave ready since I bought it.
    My other razors are most of the 5/8 size.

    sharp from one side only?

    Tried for some time to get 1 razor sharp but with no sucess.
    When I test it with my thumb it feels kind of sharp from one side but not from the other! Iīm very far from a experienced user of hones...
