I've only ever tried at waist height, as it's just seemed a natural height. I'll give it a go at a different height & see if it works for me. -

Mine's around waist height. It's on the door...
Mine's around waist height. It's on the door handle at 1 metre. I don't think it matters & is just down to what you feel comfortable with, or what's convenient.
