It all depends on grind really. You could have a 7/8 hollow that's significantly lighter than a 5/8 wedge. In fact, I do.
You're really unlikely to notice any great difference between those sizes...

Very little in it. You probably wouldn't even notice. Once you've had a few months practice, don't be afraid to try out a few different sizes & grinds. Eventually you should be able to pick up...
