Shell cordovan strops are not cheap no matter the brand. I find that the #3 kanayama represents good value.

As far as not having a handle, I actually prefer hanging strops that way.

I don't see a Kanayama in there Robin, have you ever tried one? They are impeccable. I have both a vintage Pelican Kanayama and a modern # 3, both are wonderful.
