Be careful what oils you use or you will end up with a very foamy lather that does not hold up for shaving. Works fine for a cream facial soap, but really stinks at dense creamy lathering

Creams are fussy to make and they take 6-8 weeks before they are ready to use. My suggestion is to google shave cream recipe's and see what comes up for you.
