Last night's post that I'd typed up, but then the power went out, so posted now. Tell you what, we're certainly not ready for the zombie apocalypse, a 15 hour blackout caused mayhem, though showering and shaving this morning by candlelight was rather romantic.

Nice shave with the De Pews as far as how it handles goes, but STILL the edge isn’t ‘there’. Maybe it never will be? Maybe I should just send it away; like sending away a son or daughter to a boarding school, to be ‘made proper’. I’m not sure how parents could ever do that. I guess their kids must be horrible; annoying little pimply pale things that pinch.

The De Pews is not an annoying pimply pale thing that pinches so I’ll continue to guide it; take it under my fatherly wing so to speak. Maybe we’ll go fishing together down by the docks; eat chips and look at the sky.
