Welcome back to the forum! Condolences on the loss of your father: I know it is hard to carry on and I wish you things will smooth out soon.

So, it's time for shaving and I pull out the Hibbard, Spencer blade together with Jabonmans Citrocos, Myrsols Formula C and New Forest 2201 brush. I found an old bottle of La Toja Manantiales at El Corte Ingles here in Barcelona ... Not very close to the dito soap or AS from La Toja, not those excellent mineral tones and fresh feeling about it, but more old school barber shop, I think (a little more classy than your reg barber shop scent, but never the less).
Welcome back Jeff, very nice to see you back again and my sincere condolences (lost my Pops many years ago, but I do still miss him and often thinks of how a good guy he was)!

JBHoren: I don't usually smile at a SOTD pic (I'm more the drool and slackjaw type) but somehow you managed to turn Tacky into Art.

Razor | Jernbologet Frameback | Cream | Musgo Real | After Shave | Musgo Real No. 3 Spiced Citrus | EDT | Joop! Jump
The Jernbologet with leather scales is probably one of the shabbiest looking razors you’ll see but its edge is supurb. I find I can get a better edge easier on a frameback than on my other razors. The razor has leather scales and I patinated the blade by dropping droplets of citrus juice and warm vinegar on it from an eye dropper in several layers; building up a pattern.
I’m finding the Musgo Real cream quite a simple strong scent as opposed to the Irisch Moos which is another recently acquired cream. I find I don’t really buy soaps and creams very often; as they seem to last me a long time. However, when I buy them; I find the best way is to buy in batches; as you can compare several new products with each other.
The Musgo Real after shave is similar in a way to the TOBS Mr Sidney’s; but it feels nicer on the skin and doesn’t make your eyes water…
Hope you’re all having a good week, two more days and we are free of bondage for a little while…
Tsk. It looks to me like you may have taken some solitude from that beach. Isn't it great you had the opportunity to spend some time at such a nice spot for contemplation?
One of my favourite books is 'Cry The Beloved Country'; when I say 'book' I actually didn't read it; I listened to an audio book of it; is was excellent. I loved the phrases in it, such as 'Go well' and 'Stay well'.
I think those phrases to you now are apt.
Go well, Jeff. Stay well.
