This setup would make for a very good travel kit. The shave oil makes your face feel very soft and smooth, I wiped away three days growth with no problem.
I would miss the brush & lathering up part too much to continue using this all the time.

Was away over the past week experiencing Outward Bound.
Part of the course was to be dropped in the bush Solo for 2 nights. Minimal food, build a shelter.
No distractions, not allowed to leave your small campsite - I had about 3m x 10m at the top of a steep track.

Thought it was the perfect opportunity to try shaving without a mirror.
Created a sink with a plastic bag, a couple of sticks and some rocks.

Not a bad shave all things considered.

First time posting. Pic isn't the greatest cuz I just use my iPhone.

Result: Not bad considering I've been into this hobby for less than 6 months. The TI 6/8 half hollow grind takes a wicked sharp edge. Knock on wood, still haven't nicked myself yet.

International cutlery co. razor. Touched up on my 12k and was the smoothest blade I have ever used. 3 pass shave, not one bit of irritation and super smooth.
