Great shave with this razor - took off a couple days worth of beard without a problem.
I've been playing with some hollow grinds and really noticed the difference between the hollows and the 1/2 hollow grind on this razor. I definitely have a preference for the wedgier razors - especially when there's more than one day's worth of stubble.

I have found a second 10+ / 10 razor! Honestly, it doesn't happen too often. Chrome plate wedge, barber's notch. Covered tang. Me like!
I was thinking about running it through the hones but in the last moment did a HHT and it passed ok, thumb feel was also there so I decided to just strop and go. Had prepared 2 razors for backup (generally I just tough it out, which is stupid)- rated 10 and 9+, both terrific shavers. This debutante looks so beautiful that I was expecting a mediocre performance.
And then I started shaving - ah, the bliss! I won't even begin to enumerate what other razors felt inferior, but the list would include some impressive shavers and well-known / cult brands and models
Cheers
Ivo

Delicious shave. Lovely scent. Also I love the brush I've put together. The Blankity blanks brushhead is amazing and the handle I made is nice and hefty. It's going to be my brush for decades to come I think.

Shaving Nirvana
2 days growth
Hot towel
Shavemac 501
Mama Bear masculine musk soap
Frederick Reynolds frameback
Felt a little stubble against the grain on my neck when rinsing off, so:
Vulfix 2234
Taylors Almond cream
Gillette Slimboy set on 5, 3rd use Derby Extra blade
Diagonal & E-W pass ATG, both sides of my neck
Alum
Tabac A/S splash
I probably made a total of 7 passes on my neck between the two razors and still felt barely a sting with the alum and A/S - just a nice tingle. I've been working my way up through the settings on that Slimboy and could go higher since it feels impossible to nick or scrape myself with it on 5 with that blade, but with results like this I don't see much to be gained.
Absolutely the finest shave of my life, complete with much smooching from the wife. "Wow," she said.............. "it feels like a baby's bottom"
