Ingram Shave Cream - Zebra Wood Bowl - Semogue 830 - Henkotsu Kamisori - Alt Innsbruck

I spent the morning and afternoon doing some first aid cover for a kickboxing event so it meant a rare evening shave for me. A great shave it was too.

For the picture I decided to play around with a sepia colour splash, instead of the normal black and white colour splash. I like how it turned out.

    Logona Mann SC / Mühle Basic #02, 21mm STF / 13/16” Gold-Rex / Merkur 11C / Alum / Musgo AS

Started off with the straight razor, and half-way through (towards the end of the first pass) my son woke up and eventually wanted to join me in the bathroom. That usually means he tries to climb up, squeezes through my legs or wants me to hold him so he can supervise and observe from a close-enough vantage point So I put the straight away and continued the shave with the 11C from Merkur for the 2nd pass.

    Monday morning shave:

    Cadman & Sons Bengall 13/16"
    Simpsons Chubby 2, Best Badger
    D.R. Harris Marlborough, soap
    Face Lather
    Neil Miller-2.5" Latigo Leather
    D.R. Harris Marlborough ASL
    WTG, XTG & ATG (neck)

We have a relative cold October (for Athens standards) with temperatures between 10-20 degrees Celsious. A chance for early start of winter scents! So it was a Marlborough day and I had a fantastic shave. Very clean result.

    Monday

It's SUPPOSED to be a holiday Monday, but rather than having a relaxing shave and a drink or three I bin workin' some more. Almost at the painting stage. The whole family have been laughing at me; this is NOT my forte. I keep banging my hands with the hammer, putting bits of wood on the wall the wrong way, etc etc. Lucky I have my brother to keep things real...

Been thinking about shaving my head with a straight for Movember, any tips?

Stranger, if you passing meet me and desire to speak to me, why should you not speak to me? And why should I not speak to you?

First shave with a straight? Well done! Esp if you honed it yourself!
