No photo today, the bathroom goblin has been at work.

    Soap : TOBS sandalwood cream
    Brush : Semogue 620
Razor : Gebr Lang Solingen 4/8 (no XTG - ATG today)
Post : Cold water, alum block

    Finish : Good

    Comments :
I'm baffled. Last night, I attacked the frameback with some brasso, and brought the razor up to a nice shine. I then did 20 strokes with the CrOX strop, then 10 on the hide and 10 on the leather. Today, I did a further 10 strokes with the leather, as usual prior to the razor being used. I then discovered that the razor was breadknifed, the lather was simply being wiped off. One quick reapplication of the lather, and the Gebr Lang 4/8 was brought into action.

Surely the brasso wadding polish didn't kill the razor edge, as poor as it was..?

Hey Bill, the next time please don't tease me with that very titillating shot of what is obviously a beautiful Kikuboshi I can't recall seeing the razor before, I need to see her in her full beauty.

Jamie, you've clearly not been paying attention. She's been in the SOTD numerous times over the past few years...
