    Razor: Wade & Butcher's - For Barbers Use - 15/16 - blond horn
Shave prep evening shave, only water and a hot towel
    Brush: D.R. Harris
    Preshave:
    Soap: T.O.B.S. Sandalwood
    Scuttle: Simple soup bowl
Strop: Kanayama 20 strokes on the leather
After Shave Splash: Nivea aftershave Balm

    Notes:
Just bought the ‘blonde’ W&B from Max and did the first shave with it.

This is the first extra hollow ground W&B that I have and then it’s a 15/16 to boot! Max had honed the blade to a super edge and the first strokes went just effortless and relaxed. The extra hollow sings loudly and gives beautiful feedback!

Besides looking luxurious, the horn scales are very pleasant in touch and are balancing the thin blade perfectly. I am starting to like the absence of jimps on my W&B tangs more and more, and wielding this 15/16 blade without them was easy.

    Very soothing BBS result,

    Paul

    Soap : GFT coconut cream
    Brush : Progress Vulfix 404
    Razor : 1870 C.V.Heljestrand frameback
    Post : Nivea moisturising balm
    A/S : Aqua Velva Ice blue a/s

    Finish : BBS

    Comments :
The GFT coconut cream was a 1mg sample, and I'm glad it's finished. It lathers well enough, but the scent is just too bland for my liking. Also, my 1961 Gillette Fatboy was used for the XTG strokes, as the frameback isn't sharp enough... yet...

    * David, look at you getting down on your hands and knees to get a pic!!! Great outdoor shot, my friend! I hope I haven't influenced you in too bad of a way! I don't want you to be jumping in any rivers or falling off mountains while taking your pics!
