And my shave on this rainy but still nice Monday morning back home:

Monday morning can be nice if you have the day off and the sun is shining like it is in Moss, Norway today!
My shave today was spent together with a double espresso straight from my Rancilio Silvia and Stravinsky's Rite of Spring, rather crazy shaving music!
Stropped the Thiers-Issard 7/8 on a Scrupleworks leather strop, tasted the espresso while listening to a crescendo in the music, then prepared my face for the knife with hot water and Nyasha black preshave soap. Had a Fitjarsoap shave today with the new Ice Rose shaving cream. What a fantastic, natural rose scent, just wow. The Simpson Chubby 3 made the finest lather in a minute, enough for ten passes plus, lol. Living in a city called Moss I had to use my Moss scuttle today, and it kept the huge Simpson and the Ice Rose lather perfectly warm during the long shave.
3 passes later my face felt the way I want it to feel, a baby butt is sticky in comparison... It was scary to shave with Stravinsky in the room, BOOM, a huge cut can be the result if you don't know the music, or like Stravinskys mother called it, crap, after the premiere 1913 in Paris.
Finished with a wonderful aftershave cream, Fitjarsoap Wild Thing, with a smell of the Norwegian forest.
Have a great week everybody!Last edited by ama015; 12-02-2013 at 10:21 AM.

And so begins the last week of the semester. I'll have a nice long break once I get this week's stuff knocked out. To say that I'm ready for it would be an understatement. I'm near tired of being tired. It will be nice to be a gentleman of leisure for a month or so.The older I get, the better I was
