Razor: WhippedDog unseen flawed ,rescaled with scrimmed moose bone. Blade marked "S L. & Co"
Brush: My wife's grandfather's old Gilette Standard
Soap: Tabac
Aftershawe: Nivea Originals Moisturizing After Shave Balm
Comments: Finished these scales last week and had the first opportunity today for a properly relaxed shave with the knife after the rescaling. The scales are made from a piece of bone I had kept from the first moose (a calf) I ever bagged. Now I finally got something made out of it as a result of stumbling into the world of straight razor shaving. I'm certainly pleased, both with the shave the blade gave me this morning and all the memories the feel of that bone in my hand gives me.
PS. Almost can't wait for new opportunities out in the forest. I'm feeling the need for a moose themed soap bowl and matching brush handle...
