Strange and laborious, but decent first shave of the year: W&B Half Hollow, Silvertip Ever-Ready and Razor MD Herbal Blend cream that needed some help from MWF to lather. It's almost like this stuff has some kind of anti lather ingredients in it. The normally great performing Mitchell's Wool Fat seemed to be very much slowed down when added to this cream. It did smell really great, but just wouldn't lather. It's sort of thin and sort of thick at the same time. Normally I just splash a little water in the sink to rinse down extra lather. This stuff needed to be hand swept down the drain. The shave actually turned out pretty nice, although the lathering process took forever.
