Foggy Sunday in Steveston BC
Razor: Dovo Best Qualty 6/8
Strop; SRD Red Latigo
Brush: Semogue 1800 Boar
Cream: KMF Vanilla and KMF Mint
After: Dickinson's Witch Hazel/ CVS Spice AS/ Nivea ASB
Nicks vs Lakers on the radio.
Very nice Sunday shave.
I gave the Dovo 10 laps on Crox on balsa before i stopped 75 laps on the latigo. I have a Star Shaving black latigo strop, which seems to have a lighter draw than the SRD - I think this Dovo stops better with the medium draw of the SRD leather.
Gave myself a tiny cut on my chin - I wa going for a bit of buffing on the edge of my chin and lost focus for a second and the angle got too steep.. *sigh* first time in month that I have cut myself.

Razor | De Pews | Soap | Mme Scodiloi ‘Step Right Up’ | After Shave | Myrosol Aqua de Limón/Mme Scodioli ‘Step Right Up’
Hadn’t shaved since Friday. The De Pews was a little ‘tuggy’. Decided half way through to shave off my goatee and leave the moustache and soul patch. I have my stop watch going to see how long it takes SWMBO to notice. I’m betting on over two hours...
This is only the second or third time I’ve shaved my chin with a straight; so it was a little rough. I also realise I’ll need to set the alarm clock for 5 minutes earlier now.
The Myrosol Aqua de Limón and ‘Step Right Up’ aftershave combo worked fine; the lemon offsetting the musky scent of the Step Right Up very nicely.
The was a relaxing bedroom shaving stand shave with music being Brazillian Lounge music, beer being Oettinger pilsener.
