Razor | Gillette DE | Soap | Martin de Candre | After Shave | Old Spice Classic
Got an old DE from an antique shop today for 10 buckeroonies. Polished it with 1200 wet and dry sandpaper and Brasso (metal polish). Took the top plate back to brass and straightened a bent comb. I have a new Mühle R 89 which I use about once a week but this was quite a bit more aggressive. It produced a very close shave.
The Martin de Candre soap sample was a gift from Ed, and it’s really nice; a nice scent but also the easiest soap I’ve used to lather. I’ll definitely try and buy some.
The Old Spice aftershave is the classic scent in a bottle that looks like the original ceramic bottle, although it’s plastic. The scent is lovey and sweet.
I possibly over did the lighting effects in the picture on GIMP, but I overdo everything, that’s just who I am…
