Razor | Jernbolaget frameback with leather scales| Superlather | Mme Scodioli ‘Step Right Up’/Irisch Moos | After Shave | Myrosol Aqua de Limón/Mme Scodioli ‘Step Right Up’ | Other | Morgan’s Pomade (for some sheen and the scent)
REALLY close shave this afternoon. I honed the Jernbolaget along with a few other razors. I gave it a pyramid on the Norton and the Shapton of 20 x 8, 20 x 16, 15 x 8, 20 x 16, 10 x 8, 20 x 16, 5 x 8, 20 x 16, stropped it 30/70 on my Miller English bridle/linen strop and the result was just amazing.
After two passes (to get those pesky hairs on my neck and the corner of my jawline) it’s almost the best shave I’ve ever had.
I’ve got my brother staying with me and also my son and his wife (before they leave for Europe); and my daughter and her partner and my grandson Bailey visited, so retiring to my bedroom to shave and listen to Supertramp (Breakfast in America) and have a glass of Rekorderlig strawberry-lime cider over ice gave me some respite.
Stranger, if you passing meet me and desire to speak to me, why should you not speak to me? And why should I not speak to you?

Sunday
Hot water prep
Gottlieb & Hammesfahr razor - Custom silvertip badger brush - TOBS Sandalwood soap - Scrupleworks Swedish bridle strop - cold water splash - Calani scentless balm - hot towel - 4711 Aqua Colonia Melissa & Verbena
A new addition to the herd and an okay shave with this rare blade. I received it shave ready and it is only just that. The razor needs quite some work. It looks as if somebody attacked it with a belt grinder and left it at that. I see many nights of hand polishing ahead of me. It's a true find though. Gottlieb & Hammesfahr blades don't come by often and hardly ever in this size. More someday soon in the show and tell section.
Have a great week Gentlemen!
