Late night SOTD.
Phone still on the fritz, so no real pic!
But a big thank-you to Razorfeld for the awesome Fiesta Shaving Bowl!
Lathered up some DR Harris Windsor in this wonderful red bowl and had a bounty of English lather. Used my Thiers-Issard #69 frameback, after a good stropping on the SRD Roo strop, followed up, as always with the alum block, and some nice Pinaud Clubman.
Thanks for the wonderful shave Razorfeld! Stay tuned for another SOTD, featuring the actual shaving bowl!

Hey Phrank, have to correct you. Nice you thought it was fiesta. Just a salsa bowl from Walmart that I "improved" with some fast setting epoxy for those ridges that promote better lather.

And lather it did...I had a fiesta of a shave! Thanks again, those ridges really got a great lather going. Don't think I'll try any MDC in it...turn into a tidal wave of lather!!
Next shave though, I am going to try some Osma in it...see if it will kick it up a notch!
Thanks again!!

This razor is The Founder of the Feast. After graduating from Shavette Basic Training, this was my first fixed blade straight. I bought it in early 2007 at a local antique place for $20. Tonight I was up late writing a paper and figured I'd relax afterward with a shower and shave before bed. Pretty good shave but there was an ever so slight tugging once I got to the chin area. Not horrible though, I'll try to strop the wee out of it tomorrow, if that doesn't work I'll give it a few more laps on the stone.
Hey yo Phrank. That frameback makes me want to touch myself. I'm trying to slim the fleet but I really must get a frameback before I put my RAD away for good. The older I get, the better I was
