It is an absolutely gorgeous morning here in the Low Country; just look at the Master's broadcast on TV to get an idea, only an hour drive here on the coast.

Great shot with the Rolls '34; this would be a great thread to start as there are several types of the blade-straights in my den....Darwin kit which is gorgeous and beyond exceptional workmanship and the Wilkinson silver cased sets which are very reasonably priced and quite the value..

Yes, that's exactly where it came from...seems he had like a firehouse sale awhile back. They're expensive no matter what, but for awhile he'd reduced the prices by $100.00...so had to pull the trigger, knew I'd regret it if I didn't...but now that it's here, no regrets...superb blade.
I have a #14 JPM I won on E-Bay for a great price, just under $200.00, a lot more beat up, it's another 7/8, the blade itself is much longer, and the whole razor is much, much heavier than the #13, but it will give you an awesome shave pretty much with one pass. Eventually, I'll bite the bullet, and finally add a Filly 8/8 #14.
Cheers!
