    Hot Towel Prep
Palmolive Shave Stick .. re-milled to Ramekin
Morris&Forndran Blonde Badger .. 26mm Fan in faux Jade
Thiers-Issard Le Grelot-Like ... Heavy Grind in Dark Horn
    Neil Miller .. 30/50
    Witch Hazel
    D.R. Harris Windsor AfterShave Splash

Milling the Palmolive stick into a bowl has been a true revelation for me, and has quickly become a favorite. Not much can be said about this T-I .. A deft touch is required, as it's on the verge of being overly sharp for my good self. I hate to tone in back, because all that it really required in my unfettered attention!

    Default Get Shorty!

I had a very nice shave with this short blade; the blade was probably shortened long ago and just like the ugly ducky, nobody wanted it; I cleaned up the blade and discarded the worm eaten scales; I made a nice pair of pantaloons for this blade out of buffalo horn, African Padouk wood. I sharpened yesterday in anticipation to today’s shave; I took it to the MS Muller with slurry, then water and finally to a 10K Naniwa for polishing; man it cannot get any better than this! It is getting hot in SoFlo, so I took out the CO Bigelow and made suds with an SRD silver tip and cap it off with AV Musk. Take care. HOG

W&B, DDT 30mm synthetic and Speik

The strop is a 3 inch latigo I was gifted at the recent Houston meetup, donated by SRD. I've been using the same exact strop, in the 2 inch version, for a year and this is my first 3 inch strop. Have been using it most shaves now and it's great! Very happy my username was drawn for this one.

I feel lucky to have found SRP and to have met so many great Texas straight razor fans. It's a kick to have a get together with a bunch of people who want to talk about shaving stuff too

    Wednesday morning:

    Cadman & Sons Bengall 13/16"
    Omega 98
Dimitri's, home made tallow based soap (Levanter)
    Steve Woodhead Scuttle
    Neil Miller-2.5"Latigo Leather
    L'Occitan by L'Occitane ASB
    WTG, XTG & ATG (neck)

Yesterday I touched up my Bengall and today it gave me a clean and comfortable shave. Dimitri's soap is really top quality. Lathers easily and offers suburb post shave protection.

    Have a great day!
