I don't often comment on my shaves but I must say the Erusta 96 Boehlersteel is without doubt one of the finest razors I have ever shaved with the equal to any I have in my collection including Filarmonica's Puma's Dubl Duck Henckels or my Japanese straights

Wanted to test drive this old Kelly razor before cleaning her up. Great shave! Wife fondly refers to this one as the "tetanus razor".

Neil Miller unfinished bridle, 2-band finest brush from pixel, MdC fougere soap, Floids blue.
Razor is Kelly (sign of golden razor) Glasgow

Not a very good day. Had to say goodbye to my Dad's Guide dog. He was here with me after my Dad passed but was getting too old to deal with the steps in my house. Sent him back to Mom last December. He recently fell sick to cancer and and per Dad's instructions "not a moment of suffering for Blaze." Blaze became very I'll very quickly and we did not let him deal with pain for a moment. By Dad's wishes he was given a nice steak and a chocolate cake yesterday. Today we said goodbye to him. He will be badly missed as he was an incredible companion and family member.

So, I needed a pick up and decided to shower and shave. In memory of my Dad who took me for my first straight shave and his adoring guide dog Blaze.
