    The blade is "Mappin & Webb", the heavy sterling silver scales are from the same manufacturer and are dated 1926, the silver brush is dated 1902...

    Sometimes, perspective is all that is needed. Yesterday, I had a feeling that the Arabic needed some work and the edge wasn't quite where I wanted it. I told myself, "This edge isn't great but it's not that bad".
    Then I pick up this razor today and by comparison the Arabic is a damn spoon. Clearly the Arabic needs a lot more work on the stone.
