I think it's lead and this brand was, as I understand it, bought by Joh Engström. It' one of the older Swedish brands and one I like a lot, often a little different in design and grind compared to other Swedes. I guess pressed leather was cheaper than pressed horn scales and more well known to Swedish manufactors at the time.

Not a very good day. Had to say goodbye to my Dad's Guide dog. He was here with me after my Dad passed but was getting too old to deal with the steps in my house. Sent him back to Mom last December. He recently fell sick to cancer and and per Dad's instructions "not a moment of suffering for Blaze." Blaze became very I'll very quickly and we did not let him deal with pain for a moment. By Dad's wishes he was given a nice steak and a chocolate cake yesterday. Today we said goodbye to him. He will be badly missed as he was an incredible companion and family member.
So, I needed a pick up and decided to shower and shave. In memory of my Dad who took me for my first straight shave and his adoring guide dog Blaze.“Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe.”

Thanked: 146Jeff,
So sorry to hear you have been dealt another blow. A dogs only fault is that they just don't live long enough. He is with your Dad now, may they have a good romp together!
