Now I know why they called it a Diamond Edge razor....

Wedges have never been my favorite, but now, I was simply blown away by the shave this blade delivered. For a 7/8 near wedge, it was literally one of the nicest shaves I've ever had, simply like silk on my face, just a nice BBS shave after a completely enjoyable 3 passes. This one has been a long time coming, as I really wanted to save the original translucent scales on this razor, and it took a lot of patience and skill for Valery at the Gentleman's Den to save them. He said he knew it would shave well when he was honing it, he mentioned that the steel was so hard, the blade felt like honing glass on the stones. So this blade is all original.
